Description
Gryffindor House is one of the four houses at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, founded by Godric Gryffindor. Known for valuing bravery, courage, nerve, and chivalry, Gryffindor has produced some of the wizarding world’s most famous witches and wizards, including Harry Potter, Albus Dumbledore, and Minerva McGonagall. The house mascot is a lion, and its colors are scarlet and gold.

Located in one of Hogwarts’ towers, the Gryffindor common room is accessed through a portrait of the Fat Lady. The password changes regularly. The common room features comfortable armchairs, a cozy fireplace, and is decorated in the house colors of red and gold.
