Description
Bill Weasley is the eldest son of Arthur and Molly, a talented curse-breaker for Gringotts Wizarding Bank known for his cool demeanor, long hair, and fang earring.
Background
Bill excelled at Hogwarts as Head Boy of Gryffindor House before taking a position with Gringotts, working primarily in Egypt to break curses on ancient wizarding tombs. He was a member of the Order of the Phoenix during the Second Wizarding War. During the conflict, Bill was savagely attacked by the werewolf Fenrir Greyback. Though Greyback was not in full werewolf form at the time, the attack left Bill with permanent facial scars and some wolfish tendencies — a preference for rare steaks and a certain sharpening of the senses — though he did not become a full werewolf.
History
Bill married Fleur Delacour, the Beauxbatons champion from the Triwizard Tournament, who declared that the scars only proved her husband was brave. Together they settled at Shell Cottage on the coast, where they raised three children: Victoire, Dominique, and Louis.
After the Battle of Hogwarts and Voldemort’s defeat, Bill continued his curse-breaker work for Gringotts, occasionally traveling to Egypt and other distant locations but making an effort to stay closer to home for his family’s sake. His eldest daughter Victoire eventually began dating Teddy Lupin, the orphaned son of Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks, further intertwining the extended Weasley and Potter families.
