Background
Arthur is a pure-blood wizard and a devoted member of the Order of the Phoenix, having fought in both Wizarding Wars against Voldemort and the Death Eaters. He served for many years as Head of the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office at the Ministry of Magic, a position that perfectly suited his love of all things Muggle despite the meager pay. He and his wife Molly raised seven children at the Burrow, their ramshackle but beloved family home.
History
Arthur fought bravely in the Battle of Hogwarts alongside his family. The war cost the Weasleys dearly — his son Fred was killed during the battle. In the aftermath, Arthur returned to his post at the Ministry of Magic under the new Minister, Kingsley Shacklebolt, who reformed the institution from the ground up. Arthur was eventually promoted to Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, a recognition of his steadfast integrity and years of service.
He and Molly continue to live at the Burrow, which has become the gathering place for an ever-growing family. As his children married and had children of their own, Arthur became grandfather to twelve grandchildren in total — a development that brings him enormous joy.
