Description

Hermione Granger is one of the heroes of the Second Wizarding War, widely considered the brightest witch of her age. A Muggle-born witch sorted into Gryffindor, she proved time and again that talent and determination matter far more than blood status. Hermione is sharp, principled, fiercely intelligent, and deeply compassionate, with an unyielding drive to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves.

Background

Hermione was the intellectual backbone of the trio that included Harry Potter and Ron Weasley, playing a critical role in the hunt for Horcruxes and the defeat of Voldemort. She fought in the Battle of Hogwarts and was a key member of Dumbledore’s Army. Unlike Harry and Ron, Hermione returned to Hogwarts to complete her 7th year (1998-1999), sitting her N.E.W.T.s before entering the wizarding workforce.

After the war, Hermione traveled to Australia to find her parents, whose memories she had modified to protect them from the Death Eaters. She successfully restored their memories and brought them home.

History

Hermione joined the Ministry of Magic, starting in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, where she continued her long-standing fight for house-elf rights through S.P.E.W. (the Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare). She later rose to become Deputy Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, where she worked alongside Minister Kingsley Shacklebolt to eradicate old laws that were biased in favor of pure-bloods.

She married Ron Weasley, and together they have two children: Rose and Hugo. Hermione also translated The Tales of Beedle the Bard from the original runes, which was published with notes by Albus Dumbledore. Like Ron and Harry, she was featured on a Chocolate Frog card for her contributions to the war effort.
