Description

Tamsin Greaves is a bright-eyed student with an ever-present smile and animated gestures, often carrying a glitter-decorated notebook covered in encouraging stickers. She radiates warmth and energy, greeting everyone with genuine enthusiasm and infectious optimism.

Personality

Tamsin is bubbly, encouraging, and genuinely excited about everything—from Quidditch matches to obscure divination techniques—making everyone feel seen by remembering small details about their lives. While some mistake her cheerful energy for superficiality, she’s remarkably perceptive, picking up on patterns and emotions others miss while rallying people together.

Background

Tamsin naturally excels at Divination and Arithmancy, seeing patterns in numbers and futures like plays forming on a Quidditch pitch. She keeps a magically enchanted “truth journal” that records people’s genuine impressions rather than their words, using it to help friends work through their feelings—though she occasionally senses strange shifts around the school that unsettle her prophetic dreams.

Story

Tamsin was introduced to Caoimhe Keelan, Finlay Figgins, and Otto Noxley as one of their Ravenclaw dormmates, along with Callum Vane. Her bubbly personality made her an easy mark for the party’s schemes.

For Wizzlethorpe’s Research Challenge, Tamsin teamed with Miriam Pike and Isolde Kettleburn. The party convinced her—and the ever-anxious Miriam—to switch research topics, trading away Pre-Hogwarts Magical Architecture for Talking Herbs. Tamsin’s team would have won first place, but Caoimhe burned their report the week before, bumping them to third.

During the party’s nighttime heist of The Restricted Section, Tamsin caught them sneaking out of the common room. Finlay cast Infirma Cerebra without hesitation, confusing her long enough for them to escape. When they returned, she was asleep on the couch—unaware of what had happened or how close she’d come to exposing their secrets.
