The daughter of Xenophilius Lovegood, editor of The Quibbler, Luna is known for her dreamy demeanor, her unwavering belief in creatures most people consider imaginary, and her quiet, unshakeable courage. She sees the world differently than most, and the world is better for it.
Background
Luna was a devoted member of Dumbledore’s Army and fought in the Battle of Hogwarts, standing alongside Harry Potter and his allies against Voldemort’s forces. Despite being bullied and dismissed by many of her peers throughout her school years, Luna remained kind, honest, and steadfast. She was one of the few people who could see Thestrals from a young age, having witnessed the death of her mother as a child.
History
After the war, Luna became a famous Wizarding naturalist, traveling the world to discover and classify new magical species. Her expeditions took her to remote corners of the globe, and she made significant contributions to the field of Magizoology. She never did find the Crumple-Horned Snorkack, though by all accounts she has not given up looking.
During the 2005-2007 period, Luna is about 24-25 years old and likely traveling the world on expeditions, cataloguing magical creatures and sending occasional dispatches back to The Quibbler.
