Description
A finely crafted jewelry box of dark polished wood, its surface inlaid with delicate silver filigree forming interlocking geometric patterns. The lid bears no visible latch or keyhole—only a small circular depression lined with a faintly luminescent red crystal. The box is cool to the touch and heavier than it appears.
Mechanics
Blood Lock. The box can only be opened by a creature whose blood has been keyed to it. To open, a keyed creature must press a finger to the crystal depression and allow a single drop of blood to be drawn (no damage). The lid then opens smoothly. Any attempt to force the box open or bypass the lock causes the contents to be shunted into an extradimensional space, inaccessible until properly opened.
Keyed Creatures. The box is currently keyed to Caoimhe Keelan, Otto Noxley, Finlay Figgins, and Callum Vane.
Notes
The party commissioned this box over the summer while staying at the Noxley estate. It was created to safely store Seylon’s Ring after they recovered it from beneath Seylon’s Tower.
